Call for BoFs – Closed
Please note that the call for BoFs is now closed.
Birds-of-a-Feather (BoF) sessions are opportunities for ISC attendees with common interests to come together for informal discussions and for sharing new ideas and information on HPC topics. Each 45-minute session addresses a different topic and is led by one or more individuals with expertise in this area. The BoF sessions are open to all ISC participants, including exhibitors, and will be held on June 19 and June 20.

BoF Submission

BoF proposals need to be submitted as a single pdf file via the EasyChair conference system by Monday, April 9, 2012, and need to include the following information:
- Title of the BoF session
- Abstract (1,000 characters max.)
- Three or more keywords
- Contact details (first name, last name, organization, e-mail address) for each BoF organizer/presenter
- Short CV for each BoF organizer/presenter
- Targeted audience
- Estimated attendance
Note:
All documents need to be uploaded as a single pdf.
A subcommittee of the ISC'12 Steering Committee will review all BoF proposals submitted, select the BoF sessions for ISC'12 and allocate their time slots; ISC will provide meeting room facilities for the sessions. By submitting a BoF proposal, you agree to host the BoF session at ISC’12 in Hamburg, Germany. BoF session hosts need to be registered ISC’12 participants.
Proceedings
A pdf of the accepted BoF presentation, if provided to us, will be published in the ISC’12 proceedings, which will be available online to ISC attendees a few days after the conference.
ISC'12 Steering Committee
The newly set up ISC Steering Committee replaces the former Advisory Board and Program Committee. The members of the ISC Steering Committee are distinguished HPC experts and decision makers who provide guidance on the conference program and help enhance publicity, acceptance and growth of ISC in industry, research and academia.
